Bob worked on until normal retirement age and always enjoyed his pint of larger, his two locals being 'The Old Crown' and 'The Angel', although Ann recalls that when Bob did alot of decoartion in the house at Morgan's lane he was so busy that he didn't go out for his pint for about 2 years, when he did visit his locals, bob was always smart, booted and suited with a tie on and he was very fussy about his hair, always had plenty of combs handy.
