Bob was someone who was a right character who had a great sense of humour, someone who made up jokes as he went along, he could embarass family members, like the time he was out with Ann and he walked into the civic centre with the statement that he had 'caused to complain' when challenged by the lady behind the counter he said ' he wanted his 7 and 6 back for the cost of his marriage license!'. At times bob seemed as if he wanted to fight the world, he had a few scraps in his time although he mellowed as he grew older, but he was also a most generous man who would give you his last penny even if he went short himself.
