Among the many other memories of Bob's was that he liked a flutter on the horses, enjoyed the challenge of picking a winner! he was keen on the lottery and often very lucky on the hotpicks. When he was still able, Bob used to come round to Denises and cut the grass and do a bit of weeding and he loved Denise and John's dogs and would come over and take them for a walk. Bonzo would eventually talk to bob down the phone, Bob loved his budgies which he had all his life and the last one only died recently.
